AMALGAM brings together contemporary jewellery, craft and digital practices, exploring how material experimentation, technology and AI are reshaping adornment today. Bringing together international artists and designers, the exhibition moves between physical objects and digital environments.

AMALGAM explores jewellery as a hybrid and evolving practice, moving across craft, design, technology and digital culture. Bringing together an international group of artists and designers, the exhibition looks beyond conventional definitions of jewellery to consider adornment as a space for experimentation: a meeting point between the body, material, technology and imagination. Traditional and experimental processes coexist with digital fabrication, AI and screen-based practices, creating a dialogue between physical objects and virtual environments. Across wearable works, sculptural pieces and digital explorations, jewellery becomes a language through which ideas of identity, transformation, materiality and the relationship between human and technological systems can be examined. AMALGAM considers how analogue and digital approaches increasingly overlap, influence and reshape one another. The exhibition reflects a field in transition, where established forms of making encounter emerging tools and new ways of thinking about what jewellery can be. Presented by CLUSTER London as part of London Design Festival 2026.
