Interiors & Furniture, Art / Collectibles
Since its creation, Liaigre’s relationship with art and antiques has been a way to share experiences. We believe in this art of living surrounded by architecture, furniture, art and objects.
Liaigre has developed a very special connection with art by completing exclusive projects for collectors, artists and gallery owners, and maintains its engagement by being a major actor in the world of art. Showrooms are also a privileged meeting place for artists, collectors and private customers. Art is in dialogue with furniture and objects, offering a new reading of an interior at each installation. At the moment, Liaigre London is delighted to present its new furniture collection alongside a selection of work by two British artists, in collaboration with the Vigo Gallery. Erin Lawlor developed abstract painting based on movement and color. Oliver Marsden explored the perception process through paper. This new installation has a minimalist and refined atmosphere, in concert with the furniture. Some pieces are inspired by artists such as the iconic Saint-Germain, influenced by Giacometti’s work. This armchair is made of hammered patinated bronze which evokes sculptural furniture. The Nagato stool is also one of Liaigre’s emblematic pieces and is inspired by the Brancusi’s « colonne sans fin ». Halfway between furniture and sculpture, this brutalist and refined piece combines minimalism with poetry. Furthermore, you will be able to discover in exclusivity in our London showroom the new Panache pedestal tables. Elegant and playful, the new Panache side tables combine round shapes and bold colors, a wooden base covered with a magma-colored finish and a glossy lacquer top in a new color palette. Finally, well-being comes from the perfect balance of beauty, comfort, clean lines and attention given to the slightest detail. Liaigre has made a simple, refined style its signature and combines it with creativity and art
