Atmosphere 1102 returns to Icon House for Shoreditch Design Week 2026 We’re delighted to be returning to Icon House at Shoreditch Town Hall, from 15–17 September, as part of Shoreditch Design Week 2026, presenting two of our leading European design brands — Thonet and Alf DaFrè.
THONET | Heritage Meets Contemporary Design
With more than 200 years of design history, Thonet has helped shape the evolution of modern furniture — from Michael Thonet’s pioneering bentwood techniques to the revolutionary tubular-steel designs of the Bauhaus era.
For Shoreditch Design Week, we’ll celebrate 100 years of Bauhaus design and Dessau, including the enduring work of Mart Stam, alongside Thonet’s latest contemporary developments.
We’ll also showcase the new JS.THONET collaboration with Jil Sander, bringing a new perspective to some of Thonet’s most recognisable forms, together with the beautiful Dark Mélange cane work, demonstrating how the brand continues to evolve its heritage through material, colour and craftsmanship.
ALF DAFRÈ | Contemporary Italian Living
Alongside Thonet, we’ll present Alf DaFrè, a brand rooted in Italian craftsmanship and a sophisticated approach to contemporary interiors.
From beautifully engineered storage and living systems to tables, seating, beds and statement furniture, Alf DaFrè offers a highly flexible collection designed to create complete and individual interior environments.
A particular highlight will be the sculptural Gubia sideboard, showcasing the craftsmanship, material detail and distinctive design language that characterise the Alf DaFrè collection.
