Battersea Design District will be hosting its dedicated district day on Thursday 19th September to shine a light on the partners based here during LDF24. Experience the thriving design-led scene of the district and late-night partner events and openings!

Bankside is one of London’s most creative and cultural districts, running along the Thames from Borough Yards to Oxo Tower Wharf. It is a place with a rich industrial heritage and home to world-famous destination brands such as Tate Modern, Shakespeare’s Globe and Borough Market, making it one of the most visited districts in London and an area of landmark commercial and residential developments. For 2024, in addition to hosting many first-time designers, Bankside will become a hub for typeface. Expect a packed programme of events, talks and interactive installations based around typeface and typography. In addition, the district is home to LDF’s only trade show 'Material Matters’, celebrating the importance of materials in design and architecture. Bankside Design District is coordinated by Better Bankside, a Business Improvement District (BID) with over 850 businesses in Bankside, London SE1. Better Bankside exists to make Bankside a better place to live, work and visit.
