(BE)LONGING/S PROJECT

(BE)LONGING/S Project presents an immersive group exhibition exploring notions of ‘home’, the uncanny, and displacement. Hosted at hARTslane Gallery—a former motorbike garage in New Cross Gate—the show transforms raw industrial architecture into unexpected domestic landscapes.

(BE)LONGING/S PROJECT challenges the boundaries between art, craft, and design: redefining notions of ‘home’, identity, and material memory, 'home' is reimagined through a lens of the uncanny. The exhibition presents a sensorial curated design showcase of hybrid ceramic objets, sculptural installation, sound, music, film, photojournalism, contemporary textiles, and wall art. (BE)LONGING/S PROJECT is a network of multidisciplinary transnational, intergenerational artists and designers. Visitors are invited to engage with site-specific works, join a panel discussion on 'homing', performance, and to participate in a design workshop, whilst supporting a homeless charity. Designers & Artists: @michaelancholia, Laura Denise Baker, Malgorzata Lisiecka, Corrie Georgala, Aleksandra Ishilla, BY MA Studio, Cell Deletion, and Richa Vora.
