A collaborative project by Hato Store & Michael Marriott, reworking Max Bill's ULM stool.
'Bill' is a showcase of 30 limited edition stools that have been designed for the 20th anniversary of LDF. The stools will be on show and available to purchase at Hato Store during the event A homage to Max Bill. The Bauhaus trained Swiss architect / artist designed the Ulm Stool in 1954. Designed for the Ulm Hochschule für Gestaltung, in Ulm, Germany. Conceived as an exercise for students to learn through making. Since manufactured in different materials and finishes in Italy by Zanotta. Now rationalised for a different production, in London, in an edition of 30. Re-imagined in new and recycled birch ply-wood and aluminium. Added colour & graphics applied via five different process’. It’s like a bit of Bauhaus, but with Bills on.
