Demystifying Design

London College of Communication, UAL in partnership with London Design Festival and Elephant Park celebrates Southwark South Design District as a diverse design destination encompassing one of the most vibrant and creative communities within London.

Exploring the theme of ‘Demystifying Design’, London College of Communication aims to make design and creativity available to all through a free programme of diverse design happenings, including immersive experiences, talks and workshops series. Located in the heart of Elephant Park, The Tree House will host a series of talks and workshops throughout London Design Festival, from an upcycling sewing workshop as a creative practice for activism, to virtual reality learning, as well as inviting audiences to embark on research trails to explore the surroundings through drawing, augmented reality and other design skills to connect community, culture and education.
