FORAGED by Heiter X is a multidisciplinary design project aiming to encourage reconnecting with oneself and the world around us. Visitors are invited to interact with the digital component of the installation at Shoreditch Arts Club. The project is generously supported by Buckley Gray Yeoman.
In collaboration with SoShiro and Shoreditch Arts Club, Heiter X presents FORAGED, an artistic exploration and an invitation to introspection, encouraging a re-examination of our relationship with food and the environment. In the form of an immersive digital display, FORAGED by Heiter X features a mixed media film combining analogue and digital photography with video and interactive elements, giving it a timeless and textured visual quality, layered with text and music. Contemplating conscious consumption, the multidisciplinary project introduces a specially designed growing table landscape. FORAGED will be available to view at Shoreditch Arts Club, open to the public to view 16 – 27 September 2024. The corresponding installation at SoShiro is on display from 13 – 28 September 2024.
