Join us at our East London workshop for an exclusive look at how we journey from tree to table during the making of our American walnut Kielder range. We’ll be running tours to show the full process from selection and preparation of timber to the machine and hand processes we use to create tables.
On Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September we will be running tours at 11am and 2pm on our American walnut Kielder tables. Our 30 minute tour will cover: ● Selection and preparation of timber. ● Machining prepared timber into components. ● Hand processing of components. ● Solid lipping of tabletops. ● Selection, preparation and pressing of veneers. ● Hand finishing of components. Afterwards, you’ll have the opportunity to get hands-on with our products, explore design for disassembly (which sets us apart from flat-pack) and get an early preview of our newest product drops. We're proud to design and manufacture modern British furniture in Leyton and we look forward to welcoming you. We will also be hosting an Open Workshop on Friday 20 September. Join us at the Grain workshop in Leyton to see British furniture manufacturing in action. Our entire collection is designed and made in our workshop.
