The design purpose of HEAR YOUR COLOUR is to build connections between senses.

At the heart of our 2023 London Design Festival showcase is the mesmerizing project "Hear Your Colour" by the visionary artist YJ Luo. Drawing inspiration from the enigmatic experience of synaesthesia, Luo's immersive installation invites participants to dive into a world where colours are not merely seen but heard. Through a harmonious blend of soundscapes and visual stimuli, "Hear Your Colour" allows visitors to perceive hues as melodious notes, creating a symphony that resonates deep within the soul. Luo's ground-breaking exploration of synaesthesia challenges conventional perceptions of art, encouraging us to question how we interact with our surroundings. As colours come to life through sound and melody, "Hear Your Colour" offers a unique opportunity to engage with art on a profound and multi-sensory level.
