Join us for a panel discussion with industry experts, exploring the transformative power of design and architecture in shaping our individual and collective wellbeing.
This event, hosted by Inhabit Hotels for London Design Festival 2023, brings together a group of industry experts from the hospitality and design worlds to delve into the impact that design and architecture can have on both our individual and collective wellbeing. Panel discussion participants will include some of Inhabit’s key creative and industry partners - Richard Holland, co-founder of Holland Harvey Architects; Sophie Garnier, founder of social enterprise homewares brand Kalinko; and Marie Carlise, co-founder of London-based bespoke furniture maker Goldfinger. The panel discussion will be moderated by Josh Fehnert, Editor, Monocle. The discussion, open to all, will explore the ways in which thoughtful and intentional design choices can positively influence our daily lives, as demonstrated by Inhabit Hotels and their community partners. Inhabit Hotels offers guests much more than a place to lay their head. Every detail of their hotels aims to optimise wellness and make the world a better place – from natural and recycled materials to sustainable practices, holistic activities, partnerships with social enterprises, and contemplative art. The flagship, Inhabit, Southwick Street, has recently achieved B Corps accreditation, one of the first London hotels to receive this positive marker, following a Green Key award shortly after opening. The audience will have the chance to interact with the panelists, ask questions and engage in meaningful conversations.
