CREATE, published by Hachette Children’s, is our new book for kids and young adults. Featuring 50 mentors from across the Creative Industries, it shares journeys, tips, and skills — showing every child that creative careers are real, exciting options.
Rude, the design studio behind Everyday Sunshine — Hackney’s most vibrant arts hub and coffee shop — is proud to launch Create, a new book designed and written by Abi and Rupert, during this year’s London Design Festival. Create exists because every child deserves to see creative careers as real, exciting options — not just hobbies. And because at a time when creative thinking is being stripped from schools, it’s needed more than ever. Our book launch is an open house: pop in, browse the book, and chat with Rude about their mission to bring creative careers into schools across the UK. The book is just the tip of the iceberg — and buying a copy is your way of joining the journey. There’ll be plenty for kids too, with free creative briefs, pens, and space to get stuck in. And to close the week, join us on the final Sunday for a very special Sunday Sunshine Session — an intimate evening of live music from three incredible bands (ticketed event).
