Inspired by a commitment to nature and community, In Bloom brings together Seed130, the National Trust, and Transport for London to showcase the stories, creativity, and connections flourishing within London’s green spaces.
London’s hidden gardens come alive at Seed130. From station platforms to unexpected corners of the city, green spaces tell a story of care and community. In Bloom invites us to pause, look closely, and rediscover how nature flourishes in the heart of the fast-moving city. Celebrating over a century of green innovation across London’s transport network – where station gardens and public planting have shaped not only the city’s landscape but also its communities. Seed130 is a new temporary art gallery in the heart of the City of London. Through contemporary art, it champions sustainable culture and encourages engagement with climate and environmental issues. The gallery brings together artists, researchers, designers, scientists and local communities in collaborative projects that spark ideas, foster resilience and inspire action. Curated by Futurecity in collaboration with Invisible Dust and the Eastern City Business Improvement District, Seed130 is part of the 130 Fenchurch Street redevelopment led by CO–RE for Aviva Investors, with a design team including WilkinsonEyre and Arup. The permanent exhibition is not ticketed and free of charge. The events programme includes the following talks and educational workshops. To join us, booking is required and can be done by clicking the 'Book your ticket' tab. Workshop: Cyanotyping with Bernice Mulenga Explore the historic cyanotype process and create your own, blue-toned photographic prints inspired by TfL’s gardens and Bernice Mulenga’s visionary images.
