At the Make.Work.Space design studio, we have developed an innovative self-contained workspace product that elevates the remote working experience. The Pod will be introduced this September at the London Design Festival and caters to people who need a peaceful space to work in at home or as they move around town. The design-led pods have been crafted to respond to the requirements of the new, flexible and untethered modern workforce. Users can comfortably relax in the one-person pods and spend time being insulated from the noise of the world outside while they catch up on emails, make phone calls or simply take a break between meetings. Whether installed in the home or a public or commercial space, the Pod will provide more autonomy, flexibility and choice in when and where we work. Never again should we have to work around cramped kitchen tables, in busy coffee shops, hotel rooms or other less-than-productive hybrid spaces! With sophisticated technology and optimised materials underpinning the design, it is a truly unique product in the market as it is suitable for both indoor and outdoor settings.
