During London Design Festival, Lema introduces its brand-new furniture collection from the recent Salone del Mobile and an exciting collaboration with artist Ludovica Basso, aka Clorophilla Studio. Featuring the Hasu armchair by Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba, presented in a unique artistic interpretation.

The Lema London Flagship Store, situated at 183 King’s Road, will host the most significant new furniture designs that were recently introduced at the Salone del Mobile in Milan, complemented by an exciting collaboration with rising Italian artist Ludovica Basso, known as Clorophilla Studio. This event promises to be a celebration of Italian design, artistic expression, and seamless luxurious living. One of the highlights of the new collection is the Hasu armchair, by Ludovica Serafini + Roberto Palomba. This compact armchair, named after the Japanese word for lotus flower, epitomises elegance and sophistication with its soft, enveloping, three-dimensional volumes. The Hasu armchair is designed with formal cleanliness, perfect proportions, and visual purity. Its star-shaped base provides stability and support, while the substantial padding of the seat ensures maximum comfort. On the evening of June 19th, during an exclusive cocktail party, Lema will unveil a unique artistic interpretation of the Hasu lounge chair through the creative vision of Ludovica Basso, also known as Chlorophilla Studio. Clorophilla is a versatile Italian artist and illustrator renowned for her ability to transform everyday objects into unique works of art. Her world is filled with magical creatures, hearts on fire, falling stars. Her artistic process is deeply influenced by her travels, which are reflected in her sketchbooks filled with drawings and notes. The unveiling event will also feature a live dance performance creating an unforgettable evening that celebrates the fusion of design, art, and culture. Regarding the Showroom, one window will feature the new Omega lounge chairs by Federica Biasi, showcasing their elegant design and impeccable craftsmanship. The other window will highlight the Hasu armchair, adorned with Clorophilla’s unique artistic interpretation, creating a striking and immersive experience. As clients move further into the Showroom, they will encounter a range of other furnishings from the new collection together with iconic designs. The first living area features the Niveaux sofa by Federica Biasi, paired with the Drum coffee table by Piero Lissoni and the Francis coffee table by Norm Architects. Facing this setup is the Lullaby night set, which includes bed, storage unit, and bedside tables, all designed by Ludovica Serafini + Roberto Palomba, epitomizing sophisticated simplicity and practicality through its rounded shapes and imposing headboard. Next, the Bule’ dining table is paired with the brand-new Ayon dining chair in hide leather by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti, creating a dining area that blends modern design with elegance. The next living area features the brand-new Ares sofa by Roberto Lazzeroni, with its modular shape and high backrest for ultimate comfort. This is complemented by the fun and geometric brand-new Orion coffee tables in a range of pastel colours, also by Roberto Lazzeroni. Facing this setup is the iconic Maddox bed with the LT40 modular system and Claire armchairs, for a further night area that is perfect for city living. At the back of the display, clients will find the brand-new August dining table by Roberto Lazzeroni, inspired by traditional trestle table design paired with the functional Babi dining chairs, along with a selection of iconic Lema wardrobes and night systems. In the basement of the Showroom, accessible by descending the Piero Lissoni designed staircase, a focal point of the Showroom, a mini apartment can be accessed. Responding to contemporary compact living needs, Lema has created a fully furnished apartment inclusive of kitchen, night area and living area.
