#LondonMuralFestival24

The capital's biggest celebration of street art and live painting, London Mural Festival (5th - 29th September) will see over 100 murals across the city, created by some of today's best contemporary artists. Take our free, self-guided trail and discover the highlights (brought together with LDF).

Joining forces with LDF 2024, London Mural Festival presents a trail of top mural highlights to discover across the city, including: ‘A Lasting Place’ by Sebas Velasco Location: Cobbett Street, SW8 1AD The first mural to be completed for London Mural Festival is by the incredible Spanish painter Sebas Velasco. The piece depicts a young man from the local area, standing before the Brixton trainline at night. Sebas’ first mural in London, the piece draws its title inspiration from the song by British rapper and musician Loyle Carner. Sebas' process is one of passionate investigation. Public art pieces are developed spontaneously in each new space he travels to, immersing himself in the local environment, photographing people and places which inspire his creativity. ‘A Lasting Place’ is a unique culmination of his experience living and working in Brixton’s neighbourhoods. Sophie Mess for The Stage, Shoreditch Location: The Stage, 22 Hewett St, London EC2A 3NL Sophie Mess is a British artist known for her vibrant, botanical inspired artworks that radiate with energy and life. As part of London Mural Festival, she has created a brand new work for The Stage, Shoreditch’s hottest new destination. Often using the urban landscape as her canvas, Sophie’s work explores the juxtaposition of delicate interpretations of nature with urban structures, transforming spaces and promoting positivity. Through her work she invites the viewer to connect with nature through playful perspectives, inspiring a sense of wonder. Sophie says “London is where my street art journey began, so it's always a treat to paint in this wonderful city.” Anna Ovni, Nick Tez and Itaewon take over The Leadenhall Building Trumpets Location: The Leadenhall Building, 122 Leadenhall St, EC3V 4AB Art meets architecture at The Leadenhall Building as three innovative artists take over the iconic trumpets in the square with beautiful abstract shapes. 'A Dog in Hand...' by D*Face Location: Theatro Technis, 26 Crowndale Rd, NW1 1TT Don't miss this impressive new large scale mural by leading UK street artist D*Face, aka Dean Stockton. 'A Dog in Hand...' depicts a woman carrying a mysterious object in D*Face's distinctive pop-art infused style. D*Face's murals can be found across the globe and his subversive-pop style and iconic D*Dog logo have become an inseparable part of British urban art and its ever-expanding medium. A trio of murals by Jo Hicks, Venessa Scott and Zoë Power Location: Bellmouth Promenade, Canary Wharf, E14 5GL Three female British artists; Jo Hicks, Vee (Venessa Scott) and Zoë Power have each brought their unique style to a trio of new murals in Canary Wharf, each designed to celebrate the local community. The murals all compliment and influence one another, interacting with the architecture of the space. Tea Jurisic and David Maker reimagine Surrey Quays Shopping Centre Location: Surrey Quays, SE16 A collaboration between two innovative artists; illustrator and muralist Tea Jurisic from Croatia, and Spanish artist David Maker - whose work will be in connection and conversation with one another as they transform two sites at the 1980s Surrey Quays Shopping Centre in Canada Water into a stunning new outdoor art installation.
