Andreu World, the international contemporary furniture company, presents the Calma Lounge collection alongside Benjamin Hubert at its new showroom in London. The event will be held on 18 September at 6 pm, coinciding with the London Design Festival. The Calma Lounge collection is one of the new 2024 collections and consists of a line of reclining armchairs adaptable for corporate and domestic spaces. These recliners offer a welcoming design and an optional wider headrest for added privacy. The padded interior and wrap-around armrests provide all-around comfort. The 4-blade swivel aluminum base and the synchronized reclining system ensure optimal ergonomics in any position. In addition, the backrest can be wrapped in walnut plywood, combining aesthetics and functionality. Calma Lounge is 100% manufactured for the circular economy and is Cradle to Cradle® certified. Its design completely dispenses with the use of glue, which facilitates individual removal of the upholstery for washing, replacement or upgrading. This feature makes maintenance easier and allows the chair to be disassembled at the end of its life cycle, facilitating recycling and the separation of all its components. London Showroom This event will be held in Andreu World's new showroom in London, which will be open throughout the week of the London Design Festival. Designed by Patricia Urquiola, it is a 400m2 space divided into two floors and built under the premise of sustainability, using recycled and recyclable materials. Inside, Smile Plastic shelves are used, made from recycled plastics. The floor is made of compacted stone, selected for its low environmental impact. This meticulous approach to the use of materials not only minimizes CO2 emissions, but also allows for the reuse of the materials. About Andreu World Andreu World is a global, family-owned company.
