Pentagram x Deus ex Machina brings together design, craft and making, from an original 1965 Mini Cooper S featuring Matt Willey’s bold livery to a new collection of products and one-off upcycled garments. Created especially for the exhibition, the pieces reflect a shared commitment to originality and thoughtful design.
Osh Gallery brings together Pentagram and Deus ex Machina for an exhibition celebrating design, craftsmanship and the culture of making.
At its centre is an original 1965 Mini Cooper S race car featuring Matt Willey’s livery design for Deus, shown alongside a new collection of products developed by Deus, Willey and Pentagram industrial designer Piotr Woronkowicz.
Known for blurring the boundaries between motorcycles, surfing, art, design and contemporary culture, Deus ex Machina has also reworked a selection of vintage garments especially for the exhibition. Each one-off piece has been upcycled and will be available to purchase exclusively at Osh Gallery during the festival.
Bringing together new products, limited editions and unique one-off pieces, Pentagram x Deus ex Machina celebrates the shared values of craftsmanship, originality and thoughtful design. The exhibition offers a glimpse into an ongoing collaboration between two creative companies with a passion for making things that are built to last.
