Pop-up Jamboree

In-house celebrations open with models of all shapes and sizes wearing signature CC dresses, showcasing the easy-to-wear, versatile nature of the collection. Similar pieces will decorate mannequins and rails throughout the room, where guests can try on and really get a feel of the garments for themselves. The event will double as both an exhibition of the new collection, Jamboree, and also as a shop, where every item on display is available to purchase. Carmen will have a station set up in the room where guests can see her altering their newly purchased garments. In addition to the ready-to-wear pieces, there will also be the opportunity to shop via a made-to-order service. Exclusively to LDF, Carmen is opening up her personal collection of rare and extra special vintage cloth for guests to pick and choose their favourites from. Fabrics have been sourced from years of searching market stalls and auctions all across Europe, where a selection of loud, colourful floral cottons, ranging from the early 1960's to the late 1970's made the final cut. Carmen will be handcrafting bespoke garments from these fabrics in any size required.
