Rhys Coren & Peter Noyce present a series of four new marble works to mark the completion of their largest and most ambitious commission to date, Filter Sweep, 2.8-metre-long, modular table for the outdoor communal area at Young Space.

Concepted after a series of conversations between Coren and marble expert Peter Noyce, who oversaw the cutting and assembling of Coren’s Everyone I’ve Ever Known, a 9-metre-long, 4-tonne public artwork hanging behind the Bond Street Crossrail station, made from over 200 pieces of terrazzo. Throughout the fabrication process and ongoing collaboration, Coren and Noyce have exchanged ideas and tested techniques developed with Coren’s imagery. Assembled in gallery formation for the very first time at Young Space, Coren and Noyce invite visitors to interact with and take a seat at the table. Young Space is for artists and people who support artists. A former milliners in De Beauvoir - designed by John Pawson Architects - it acts as an incubator and salon. Communal areas have been designed to enhance conversation & collaboration.
