As part of his ongoing 'Alphabetical' series, Dan Tobin Smith presents a kinetic installation for the letter B, in homage to Bruno Munari. The piece uses random fluctuations in wind to create rare abstract forms, from the multitude of available positions and combinations.
The piece will be displayed in the window of Art Practice on Curtain Road and available to view from the street for the duration of the festival.
For over 20 years Dan Tobin Smith has worked as a photographer & director specialising in still life and installation photography. His work has been commissioned by clients across the fields of fashion, music, publishing and advertising. Clients include Alexander McQueen, Jay Z, Craig Green, Acne and Numero; to Absolut, Apple, Rimowa, Nike and Louis Vuitton.
