Shadow Depths: Journey of Psychic Renewal

Saturn VII, the first discovered non-spherical satellite, is renowned for its highly irregular shape, chaotic rotation, low density, and unusual sponge-like appearance. In Roman mythology, Saturn is the god of agriculture and abundance and is also associated with time and cycles. Saturn is often seen as a symbol of time, fate, and harshness. In modern astrology, Saturn represents repression and challenges, and its energy is closely linked to reflection and meditation. The mythological aspects of Tartarus and Saturn are reflected in art and also serve as metaphors for contemporary societal issues. Shadow Depths: Journey of Psychic Renewal aims to explore how the concept of Tartarus can be applied in art creation and art therapy through an Open Studio format as part of our exhibition, Escaping Tartarus. This project includes: Art Healing Workshop: Each individual's subconscious contains a "shadow self," which encompasses repressed and unaccepted parts of the person. By recognizing and integrating the shadow, individuals can achieve psychological wholeness. Art Talk: An interactive art discussion session where participants have the opportunity to share their creative processes, emotional experiences, and inner explorations. Engaging with other participants and artists deepens understanding of oneself and the artwork. An extraordinary evening where performance and sound artists join forces to create an engaging and immersive experience. As the boundaries between art forms dissolve, we invite vou to join us on an eclectic journey of movement, sound and storytelling. Tonight, each artist will use their unique voice to weave a tapestry of rhythm, emotion and imagination. Whether through powerful physical expression or haunting aural landscapes, this collaborative performance will transport you to a transcendent realm.
