Site Conditions

Site Conditions brings together artists whose practices explore the ways space is produced, organised, inhabited and understood. Working across sculpture, installation, moving image and sound, the exhibition considers architecture, infrastructure, movement, sound, memory and social relations as forces that shape our experience of place. The works approach space not as a neutral backdrop but as something continually constructed through physical systems, human activity and collective imagination. Presented throughout the industrial spaces of 57 Gorst Road, the exhibition takes Park Royal as both context and point of departure, bringing together artists whose work engages with the conditions, rhythms and structures that shape contemporary environments.
