The Architecture of Light with Lasvit at YDF Interiors

Being part of the Brompton Design District, on 18 September 2025, 6 PM, YDF Interiors invites you to an exclusive evening: Architecture of Light. This special presentation unveils Lasvit’s visionary approach to lighting, where centuries-old Bohemian glassmaking meets bold contemporary innovation. Lasvit’s work can be found in some of the most prestigious destinations in the world, including here in London. One of their most celebrated recent projects is “Poppies” at Raffles London at The OWO, a sculptural installation conceived by Petra Šošťáková. Comprising 117 hand-blown glass petals in red, black, and white, the piece captures the delicate movement of flowers in the wind while honouring the site’s historic legacy. Each petal is individually crafted, combining masterful technique with emotive storytelling to create an installation that resonates with both place and purpose. During Architecture of Light, YDF Interiors will present bespoke lighting designs created by Lasvit for YDF’s own interior projects, revealing the journey from initial concept through to the final handcrafted glasswork. The event will offer an inside look at the intricate techniques, material innovations, and creative vision that transform molten glass into luminous architectural statements.
