Gemla is one of the most well known Swedish joineries. They always put design, craftmanship and sustainable natural materials first. Gemla & Samuel Wilkinson is presenting their new GEMLA OPEN lounge chair alongside with STAM side tables by Sami Kallio and the up-cycling cushion project MEADOWS by Lisa Hilland.
Gemla & Samuel Wilkinson present their new GEMLA OPEN lounge chair. Made from all natural materials, the Gemla OPEN is a high back wooden chair with elegance and meticulous detailing. The project represents Samuel Wilkinson’s first collaboration with Sweden’s oldest furniture manufacturer, founded in 1861. Samuel is the first non-Swedish designer in modern times to develop a product together with Gemla. The development process has taken a lot of time and attention to the tiniest details before the launch. Time well spent. The GEMLA OPEN will be presented alongside with STAM side tables by Sami Kallio and the up-cycling cushion project MEADOWS by Lisa Hilland. Some other exciting design objects by Front and Jonas Bohlin might also be on show.
