Pioneering plant-based paint brand Edward Bulmer Natural Paint is hosting a collaborative exhibition with The Crossover Project, showing works created with salvaged materials by a host of talented emerging artists. The exhibition will address waste in the interiors industry, mass consumption and our material fragility.

Edward Bulmer Natural Paint is hosting a collaborative exhibition with The Crossover Project, a new initiative connecting the worlds of design, fashion and art through the values of circularity - in a bid to reduce waste. The Crossover Project was founded earlier in the year by sustainable design champion and journalist Roddy Clarke and founder of avant garde gallery ‘Bleur’ Aurelia Islimye. Edward Bulmer Natural Paint showroom will host a dynamic installation of works by a number of talented emerging artists who have created artworks with salvaged materials, like paint and fabric, from fashion and design brands. The exhibition will address waste in the interiors industry, mass consumption and the fragility of our planet. With alarming statistics, such as 87% of clothing ending in landfill, 141 million tonnes of waste produced by the packaging industry and 8 million pieces of plastic reaching the ocean every day, The Crossover Project is helping to provide ways in which to alleviate some of this while also raising awareness around such critical topics and Edward Bulmer Natural Paint is excited to host the next stop in this project. During the week fabric waste pioneer Jules Haines and talented artist Jemima Sara will be hosting lampshade upcycling workshops in the showroom. Edward Bulmer will be hosting an in Conversation with Jules Haines, Aurelia Islimye & Roddy Clarke, discussing how to tackle waste in Design & Art and how we can strive to do better for our planet in the design industry.
