OLIVIAKL presents ‘The Phoenician Object’: an exhibition of collectible art objects that uncover feminine motifs within traditional East Mediterranean forms.
OLIVIAKL is a multidisciplinary practice by Architect Olivia Akl, working at the intersection of architecture, art and design. This year at London Design Festival, OLIVIAKL will be launching furniture collection: ‘The Phoenician Object’. The collection explores design as a form of art, looking at themes of cultural identity through narratives found in architecture, art, and everyday rituals. Each art object uncovers feminine motifs within Phoenician antiquity; forming a dialogue between identity, culture and contemporary art.
