The Phoenician Object

OLIVIAKL is a multidisciplinary practice by Architect Olivia Akl, working at the intersection of architecture, art and design. This year at London Design Festival, OLIVIAKL will be exhibiting recent works from her furniture collection: ‘The Phoenician Object’. The collection explores design as a form of art, looking at themes of cultural identity through narratives found in architecture, art, and everyday rituals. Each art object uncovers feminine motifs within Phoenician antiquity; forming a dialogue between identity, culture and contemporary art.
