thinkFOUND Open Studio: socially sustainable furniture

thinkFOUND is a community interest company (CIC) committed to environmental sustainability and wider access to employment. We represent a social value model that gives back to communities around London. From our workshop in the Argall Industrial Estate, we incorporate carpentry, fabrication, upcycling, training, employment, coaching and more. You will see how the circular economy is an integral element of our enterprise; using repurposed and locally sourced timber and other materials, we create furniture through resource-driven design. Find out how we provide supportive and tailored placements for young people in the area; working with under-represented communities such as ex-offenders, care leavers, the long-term unemployed and neurodiverse individuals who struggle with the transition to employment.
