Renowned British design brand Tom Dixon will unveil its new AW24 collection for the first time on their home turf. Visitors are invited to slow down and immerse themselves in the newly refurbished King's Cross shop at the heart of Coal Drops Yard, with highlights including the new PLUMP and FAT sofas and FAT Work chair
After successfully previewing the new AW24 collections in Milan and Copenhagen earlier this year, the brand will transform their London flagship shop in Coal Drops Yard. The spotlight will be on: • NEW Plump and Fat collections: Experience the luxurious comfort and bold design of the new Sofas. • NEW Slab and Ottoman: Admire the craftsmanship and sleek aesthetics of the latest Slab and Ottoman pieces, all made in Europe. • NEW Fat Chairs: Available in an astonishing 265 fabrics and colours, these chairs are designed to suit any interior. • Award-Winning Lighting: Explore the latest in Tom Dixon's lighting range, including their celebrated portable lights – Bell, Melt and Stone. On Thursday 19th September a panel discussion on 'Circular concepts & design for disassembly in the footwear space' moderated by Helen kirkum will take place in the shop with drinks being served. This panel discussion is an introduction to the larger body of work "Dear Wellington Boots! which is commissioning artists to imagine wellington boots of the future using circular and sustainable materials. Panelists include Joyce Addai-Davis, some of the commissioned artists Elijah Dailey, Valeria Pulici, and curator Bunmi abidogun.
