A constructed textile workshop using yarn and beads taught by textile designer, Florence Spurling.
In this workshop Florence Spurling will share a unique method of creating a tubular structure using a crochet hook, yarn, and beads. You will learn a simple crochet stitch and then work on a 4-colour beaded design. The beaded tube can be joined in different ways and depending on the scale and materials used, can be used for jewellery or other product ideas. As well as discovering a new skill, you are encouraged to embrace the meditative process. All materials will be provided and no experience with crochet or beading is needed.
