VitrA presents a Sustainable Showcase at its Clerkenwell Design & Specification Hub for London Design Festival 2025, spotlighting innovative products crafted from recycled and re-used materials. The exhibition features VitrA’s own designs alongside other leading brands.

From 15–19 September, VitrA will host a Sustainable Products Showcase in its Clerkenwell showroom as part of London Design Festival 2025. The exhibition spotlights environmentally conscious products and collaborations that champion innovation and circular design. At the centre is VitrA’s fully Recycled Ceramic Washbasin, made entirely from reclaimed ceramic, setting a new standard in sustainable bathroom design. Alongside, visitors will discover forward-thinking brands including: • Mater: The Eternity Chair, designed by Space Copenhagen, crafted from coffee shell waste and post-consumer e-waste using the brand’s pioneering Matek material. The chair is designed for disassembly, ensuring full recyclability. • Pit-to-Table: Pit-board, a versatile material transforming discarded olive pits into commercial panels and tabletops for residential, retail, hospitality and office use. Modular and designed for disassembly, it turns organic waste into modern design solutions. • Smile Plastics: Globally recognised for its striking surface materials, created from recycled plastics. Each design tells a story of reuse, combining distinctive character with durability and longevity. • Little Greene: The British paint maker has reimagined its signature Absolute Matt Emulsion, now made with 40% recycled ingredients. While the finish retains its sumptuous, velvety, dead-flat look, the upgrade significantly reduces the use of virgin materials. Child-safe, low VOC, and available in every Little Greene colour, the paint embodies the brand’s commitment to pairing beauty with sustainability. On Tuesday 16 September, VitrA will host a Meet the Maker Day (10am–3pm) in collaboration with Smile Plastics and Pit-to-Table. Visitors can meet the designers, learn about their sustainable processes and explore innovative material applications. The VitrA London Design & Specification Hub will be open throughout the festival, with refreshments available during ‘Meet the Maker’ day. VitrA Sustainable Showcase Open from 15–19 September, VitrA London, 64 Turnmill Street, Clerkenwell.
