William Morris Gallery launches its Archive Collection for London Design Festival 2023. See the collection on display at William Morris Gallery for the duration of the Festival. In collaboration with Liberty and Liberty Fabrics.

William Morris Gallery has commissioned five leading UK-based contemporary designers to reimagine objects from the William Morris Gallery archive that were significant to the life of William Morris, father of the arts and crafts movement. Each of these special products embodies the spirit of handmaking, working with natural materials and finding joy in labour, principles which underpinned William Morris’ own approach to design. The collection features designs by Kingsley Walters, Stewart Hearn, Blackhorse Lane Ateliers, Hannah Cawley and Wilkinson & Rivera. William Morris Gallery has also collaborated with Liberty and Liberty Fabrics to create a series of special products that celebrate the work of May Morris, daughter of William Morris, and an important designer and artist. Launching as part of London Design Festival 2023 and to coincide with the tenth anniversary of the reopening of William Morris Gallery.
