EM Design is a Taiwan-based creative practice founded by designer and artist Iris Lin. Working across design, material research, workshops, and spatial experiences, the practice explores how people connect with materials, places, and one another through observation, translation, and making. Rather than separating design from artistic research, EM Design approaches both as complementary practices. Its projects range from installations and participatory workshops to exhibitions and collaborative programmes, often developed through field research, material experimentation, and cross-cultural collaboration.
