Raised in China, she moved to Canada at fourteen and began studying mathematics and finance, before an instinct that something more expressive was missing led her to Central Saint Martins in London to study Graphic Communication Design. It was there that she was first introduced to code-based generative art — and that early encounter with writing systems that could generate their own imagery reshaped how she thought about what design could be. In the years since, as AI has moved from a peripheral curiosity into an essential part of her everyday practice, her work, and her path, has grown alongside it. She currently works as Senior Designer at FIELD.IO in London, a studio born from the idea of technology-led design practice. AI is now something she works with regularly in her day-to-day design, running through experience design in many of its aspects.
