Speakers

As technology becomes embedded within everyday life, what is the role of the designer?

Design can negotiate and reshape our relationship with technology, while recognising a responsibility to critically question, challenge or reject it. Bringing together designers, artists and researchers working across computational creativity, AI and digital culture, this conversation asks how designers are reappropriating and reshaping emerging technologies whilst embracing the uncertainty. The talk considers how at a moment of unprecedented technological change, how are designers choosing how and when to engage with the technologies influencing how we live?
