Speakers

What happens when we move beyond preserving objects to experiencing them?

Bringing together designers, craftspeople, curators and architects, the conversation explores how contemporary design can reshape our relationship with craft, collections and material culture. From collaborative making and museum practice to archival collections the panel examines how objects and materials can be activated through participation rather than observation. It considers how institutions, designers and artisans are creating new ways of engaging with cultural heritage, revealing craft and making as a living practice shaped through touch and participation.
