BEST OF MOME – Challenging Future

The University’s objective is to provide solutions to the most urgent issues of the 21st century through design-based learning, research and the application of practical expertise. Their mission is to serve the community, raise design awareness and contribute to the development of the economic and cultural ecosystems of Hungary and Central and Eastern Europe. MOME's work is defined by the convergence of creative energies with social needs, technological opportunities, economic and environmental conditions. Their intellectual workshop aims to map and understand the world in which we exist, and whose changing dimensions will determine our future. The 21st century presents a multitude of challenges and opportunities. To address these effectively, it is essential to build on the experience and values of the past and to make the cooperation between science and the arts a standard practice, in line with the approach advocated by László Moholy-Nagy. According to this approach, students develop comprehensive expertise in established professional practices while investigating cutting-edge technologies and addressing the pivotal challenges of our era.
