Blurring the lines between inner sensation and external vibration, Body-is-Leaking unfolds as a techno-acoustic spell cast in our porous bodies via sounds of leaking from and to each other.
Through an authentic electroacoustic installation using hydrophones, modular synthesis, and generative AI, real water is made to sound, shimmer, and spill—interwoven with experimental vocals and meditative ambient soundscapes. Participants are invited to touch, listen, and ultimately drink a specially prepared water mixture as part of the ritual. Audiences enter an immersive, meditative space with sonic water textures, and ethereal layers of vocals and spoken word. As the performance unfolds, it invites deep listening and ends in a shared act: drinking a specially prepared "elusive liquid" mixture, turning sonic communion into an intimate and sensory ritual of embodiment. Resonating with the exhibition’s exploration of perception and sensory fluidity, this work proposes a posthuman cosmology where water is not passive matter but an agent of memory, transformation, and relation.
