Carved by Water, Shaped by Time

Taking place at 23 Golden Square, London (13 – 21 September 2025, 11am – 7pm) during the London Design Festival, the showcase explores the profound connection between humans and water through handcrafted jewellery. Each piece draws on the fluidity of waves and the serenity of natural waterscapes, translating water’s resilience, flow, and emotional depth into wearable art. Just as 滴水穿石 (dī shuǐ chuān shí) — constant drops carve through stone — the collection illustrates how gentle perseverance can create meaningful transformation. Water’s ever shifting, enduring, and deeply connected nature is mirrored in these designs, embodying unity, beauty, and craftsmanship. Through this project, AVANTELIER and the participating designers invite audiences to reflect on water’s perseverance and its power to inspire both creativity and environmental awareness.
