Bill Amberg Studio celebrates 40 years of leather innovation with a special event for LDF. Visitors can explore a specially curated retrospective exhibition showcasing four decades of groundbreaking projects, cementing the studio's status as a world leader in bespoke leather products, interiors, and furniture.

For 40 years, Bill Amberg Studio has been at the forefront of exploring the aesthetic and material possibilities of leather, adhering to the highest ethical and sustainability standards alongside its partner tanneries and suppliers. To mark this milestone, Bill Amberg Studio is hosting a special celebration during the London Design Festival. Visitors can immerse themselves in a retrospective exhibition that highlights four decades of groundbreaking projects, establishing the studio as the world leader in bespoke leather products, interiors, and furniture. The event offers an interactive insight into contemporary leather craftsmanship, showcasing the skills and techniques used to create bespoke projects. Artisans from various disciplines, including saddlery, bag making, bookbinding, and other fine leather crafts, will be present to demonstrate their talents. Works on display include bags and accessories, such as the iconic Bill Amberg ‘Rocket Bag,’ which is part of the permanent collections at both London’s V&A and New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. The exhibition will also feature timeless bespoke furniture and interiors designed for high-end private residences and high-profile commercial projects. The celebration includes guided tours of the exhibition and live demonstrations by the studio's craftsmen. Join us to experience the heritage and innovative spirit of Bill Amberg Studio. We are hugely grateful to be hosted by Derwent at the White Collar Factory on the 40th anniversary of both Derwent London and Bill Amberg Studio.
