Enchanted Matter: Resonance

As part of Enchanted Matter: On Resonant Objects and the Life of Materials, Fifth String presents an intimate evening of solo violin performed by Emily Ames, exploring resonance, materiality, and the enduring voice of handcrafted instruments through the music of J.S. Bourrée This performance forms part of the wider Enchanted Matter exhibition, which considers the hidden lives of materials and the relationships between objects, makers, performers, and audiences. Visitors attending the exhibition opening on 11 September will also be able to experience a special preview of the evening's musical programme.
