A joyful symphony of swings and sound—Hornscape Playground turns everyday play into a multisensory public performance.

Hornscape Playground is an interactive public art installation that transforms a playground into a musical landscape. Crafted from polished stainless steel and bright yellow tubing, the work features horn-shaped forms integrated with swings and hand-operated mechanisms, inviting participation from children and adults alike. When in use, the swing activates internal pneumatic devices that emit horn-like sounds—reminiscent of elephant trumpets—without any need for electricity. This not only encourages playful human-powered engagement but also promotes sustainability. By combining motion, sound, and design, Hornscape Playground reimagines the park as a stage for collective creativity. Project sponsored by TAIWAN CONTENT PLAN.
