Ingate Works will open its doors for London Design Festival, hosting established and emerging designers and makers in a creative takeover.
Ingate Works will open its doors for the London Design Festival, hosting established and emerging designers and makers in a creative takeover. Featuring work from Wandsworth based artists, Royal College of Art recent graduates and a handful of designers from further afield, Ingate Works Takeover is a chance to see several designers' creations all in one space, with a series of live events taking place on Wednesday 20 September. Includes: Battersea Express: Emerging Talent A selection of works by Royal College of Art recent graduates, curated by Gian Luca Amadei. The exhibition will consider the role of ‘outside parties’ such as local authorities and other unique stakeholders, and how they can be best placed to undertake the role of custodian of the design. BPR Architects is London-based practice, specializing in crafting design solutions that add value to complex multi-stakeholder developments. With their motto of "adding value through Good Design", they have established a strong reputation for collaborating effectively with local authorities and developers alike. Immerse yourself in the Battersea Design & Tech Quarter's visualization, presented through various media, witness, and explore the crucial link between industry, infrastructure, and design. Free, drop-in 18th-24th with guided expo tour on 20th Sept 5pm-7pm This event is supported by Wandsworth Council, the Royal College of Art and Houston Lawrence.
