Josef Koppmann Gallery continues its commitment to modern and contemporary jewellery, presenting a curated selection of designer-makers whose work seamlessly blends design innovation with exceptional craftsmanship.

For this year’s London Design Festival, this thoughtfully assembled collection at Oxo Tower Wharf highlights bold forms, refined techniques, and conceptual depth—offering pieces that engage and inspire a wide audience. Mara Irsara is a London-based jewellery designer and maker. Initially trained as an architect, a practice she still continues, Mara brings a unique perspective to her jewellery design, drawing inspiration from geometric and primordial forms. Her work explores the principles of structure and arrangement, transforming fine jewellery into bold, expressive pieces that illuminate the wearer. Driven by outspoken ideas and playful thinking, Mara’s creativity is both thoughtful and dynamic. Each piece is handmade and entirely unique, crafted with care in her London atelier. Leonid Dementiev’ jewellery seamlessly blends timeless tradition with contemporary aesthetics. Inspired by his great-grandfather—a self-taught blacksmith who shaped intricate forms from iron wire, Leonid carries this legacy forward by working in gold and silver wire. His signature style is defined by intricate, repetitive wave patterns that symbolize eternity and the continuous flow of movement. Every curve, twist, and detail is meticulously handcrafted using traditional goldsmithing techniques, showcasing his commitment to precision and artistry. Each piece tells a story of heritage, craftsmanship, and modern elegance. Josef Koppmann presents a collection of sculptural, geometric jewellery, crafted in sterling silver with 24-carat gold overlay. Using traditional goldsmithing techniques, these two precious metals are expertly fused to create modern and timeless pieces. His work is defined by richly textured surfaces that reveal the vivid warmth of pure gold against the cool, refined sheen of silver. Carefully sourced gemstones, chosen for their exceptional cut and character, form the vibrant focal point of each design. Handmade in Josef’s Oxo Tower Wharf studio, every ring, earring, and pair of cufflinks offers a refined balance of tradition and contemporary design.
