During the festival, five custom designed Technogym benches will be exhibited by worldwide artists and designers under the name 'Design to Move' – featuring the unique creations of Nerio Alessandri, Kelly Hoppen, Myles Igwebuike, Gustavo Martini and Elena Salmistraro.

Technogym celebrated its 40th anniversary with a special exhibition titled "Design to Move," which took place in Milan earlier this year during Milan Design Week. Given the great public success, a selection of 5 out of the 40 unique Technogym Benches, designed by 40 designers and artists from around the world, will also be exhibited in London during London Design Festival. “Design to Move” features the unique creations of Nerio Alessandri, Kelly Hoppen, Myles Igwebuike, Gustavo Martini and Elena Salmistraro. The exhibition, from Saturday 14th to Thursday 19th September, explores the special and deep relation between design and wellness, style and functionality, emotional and tangible, that has always represented a key element of Technogym since its inception. The event will culminate with a Design Talk featuring renowned British interior designer Kelly Hoppen and Nigerian artist, designer, and Design Council Member Myles Igwebuike from 6pm on Wednesday 18th September at Technogym London, 71 Piccadilly. The conversation curated by Cristian Brugnoli, Technogym Architecture and Interior Design Director, will discuss Kelly and Myles’ design inspirations, trends and how the world of design and wellness meet to great inspiring spaces as well as an opportunity for an interactive Q&A and networking. The Design Talk will be an intimate event with places limited so register now. A selection of 15 unique Technogym Benches will be auctioned in collaboration with Sotheby’s, in September 2024. The further 25 Technogym Benches have been sold at Technogym.com. All proceeds from both the auction and e-shop will be donated to Unicef.
