The King's Foundation is pleased to present a selection of work from graduates of the 2023 and 2024 editions of the CHANEL & King’s Foundation Métiers d’Art Embroidery Fellowship, in partnership with le19M.
The Métiers d’Art Embroidery Fellowship is a 24-week educational programme based at the CHANEL Métiers d’Art Training Atelier at Highgrove, part of the Highgrove Estate. With the Highgrove Gardens providing a point of inspiration and reference in the design and making process, The Métiers d’Art Embroidery Fellowship has been designed to preserve and pass on the skill and vision of the couture ateliers to a new generation of makers. This educational programme offers a select group of students, intensive technical training ready for careers in Haute Couture and luxury ready-to-wear fashion. The King's Foundation will present final outcomes from the 2023 and 2024 graduates; these fellows have received the highest level of tutoring and expert advice from esteemed Maison’s d’Art based at le19M in Paris as well as support from expert tutors from The King’s Foundation. This work is presented at The Garrison Chapel - The King's Foundation's public exhibition space in London. The exhibition will run from 9 September to 4 October.
