Brompton Design District will be hosting its dedicated district day on Thursday 19th September to shine a light on the partners based here during LDF24. Experience the thriving design-led scene of the district and late-night partner events and openings!

Brompton Design District is a design hub with an engaging mix of global design brands and cultural institutions including the V&A, alongside a curated programme of exhibits with a reputation for nurturing inventive design by independent designers. The 2024 curatorial theme The Practice of Learning explores the fertile grounds of knowledge gathering, experimentation and exchange. Designers and collectives with learning embedded in their practice showcase the results of this process. Brompton’s showrooms including Cassina, Dolce & Gabbana Casa, Liaigre, Meridiani and Occhio launch new collections, while Molteni&C celebrates its 90th anniversary, launching a book that tells the story of the development of the global design brand. Highlights of the curated programme include Grymsdyke Farm’s Reading Design, a collection produced by design students in collaboration with tutors Marco Campardo, Guan Lee, Attua Aparicio and Glithero during a series of workshops at the farm. RCA Design Products presents Curious Habits ¬– Design as Learning, tracing the route designers take to reach a final outcome. POoR Collective presents the work of emerging designers, artists and architects in PowerShift 2, and at Sarah Myerscough Gallery designers explore methods of working with wood at Engrained – Material Intelligence. Zieta Studio reveals the process behind its blown aluminium furniture at Loop Generation.
