Flawk presents 'The Objects Pantry': a collaborative exhibition of playfully refined objects for the home crafted by local, emerging makers. The designers exhibiting include Alexandra Arias, Josh Page, Lewis Kemmenoe, Monika Kolarz, Motong Yang, PPP Lab, and Flawk.
Taking place in one of Flawk's bespoke development projects (the transformation of a parking lot into a characterful family residence) 'The Objects Pantry: Stoke Newington' is the first of an ongoing series that aims to facilitate local creative interaction and encourage community bonds through design. The exhibition will feature new work by emerging furniture and lighting designers based in the UK and will run for four days between September 19-22, 2024. Flawk will also host two experiential supper clubs during The Objects Pantry that present the ritual of a meal reimagined through the lens of community, in which everything from taste to utensils and glassware is designed to foster connection and a sense of conviviality. Within the exhibition's setting, we have invited supper club residents to curate edible design experiences in response to the space, blurring the thresholds of art, food, and utility.
