"The Force of the Invisible” invites reflection on unseen forces that shape our world. Six sculptural dresses, crafted from reclaimed and natural materials, unite art, fashion, and consciousness, revealing beauty in the forgotten, the rejected, and the unseen

The exhibition The Power of the Invisible, created by Simone Camêlo, cultural researcher and visual artist, founder of the Aluhmora movement, is an artistic and spiritual journey that invites the audience to reflect on what cannot be seen, yet transforms the world. Inspired by the silent power of nature and the ancestral wisdom of Brazilian craftswomen, the show presents a collection of six sculptural dresses made exclusively from repurposed materials, urban waste, and natural elements such as dried leaves. Each piece was developed as a symbol, representing the essential elements of life: water, fire, air, earth, forest, and urban, bringing forth a new aesthetic that unites fashion, art, and consciousness. Displayed on mannequins, the dresses are not merely garments: they are manifestations of invisible forces that sustain us, inspire us, and remind us that there is beauty in what is rejected, forgotten, and unseen. Walking among the dresses is an invitation to introspection. The sound of dried leaves underfoot, the unexpected glow of discarded fabric transformed into luxury, and the dialogue between shapes and textures awaken a sensorial and poetic experience. The intention is not only to showcase fashion but to provoke reflection: how do our consumption behaviors shape the future of life on the planet? More than aesthetics, this work is a manifesto. It is the delicate cry of Brazilian women artisans, who for generations have preserved the ancestral knowledge of transforming the simple into the extraordinary. It is also the reflection of urban life, where excess and waste can be reborn as art, charged with new meaning. Aluhmora believes that true sustainability is born from the invisible: from the silent care for the environment, from the resilience of communities, from ancestry passed down from mother to daughter, and from the awareness that awakens when we make space to see the world differently. In this exhibition, each dress is a living metaphor: Water – fluidity and movement, reminding us that everything returns to the cycle. Fire – energy, transformation, and the force that destroys to recreate. Air – lightness, invisibility, and essential presence. Earth – roots, shelter, and stability. Forest – abundance and diversity that only nature can offer. Urban – the contrast of modern life, where luxury and waste coexist. The Power of the Invisible is also about love: love for nature, for handmade creation, for the spirituality expressed in every detail. It is an invitation to look beyond the surface and recognize that what moves the world is not always visible. Aluhmora is more than a brand. It is a movement that connects cultures, times, and ways of being. This exhibition marks a new chapter in its journey, reaffirming that the future of fashion is sustainable, conscious, and profoundly human.
