Free Art School @ Print Club London

A week of free workshops at Print Club London’s FREE ART SCHOOL. Led by experts, open to all. Print Club London’s Dalston warehouse is packed full of painters, sculptors, printmakers, graphic designers and more. Visit from Monday 18th – Friday 22nd September between 11am - 1pm for a series of free workshops run by experts from the Print Club community. Running for one week only, exclusively for London Design Festival. All sessions are free but booking is essential, find out more details and book your space below. Monday 18th September, 11am - 1pm // Monoprinting with artist Rose Stallard Learn the building blocks of monoprinting in our studios. Led by our Creative Director Rose Stallard, you will be painting directly onto the silkscreen and pulling this through to create a unique monoprint. No experience required, just bring yourself and your creative spirit! Tuesday 19th September, 11am - 1pm // Screenprinting on Fabric - print your own tee! Drop in and screenprint your own t shirt or accessory to take home. Bring your own plain tee or tote and choose from 2 designs by our Creative Director Rose Stallard to screenprint onto your item. No experience required! Wednesday 20th September, 11am - 1pm // Doodle Club with Geo Law and Louise Doe Bring a sketchbook and enjoy a fun and relaxing session of uninterrupted doodling in our studios. Guided by illustrator Geo Law, the session will include prompt sheets encouraging you to lose all inhibition and just doodle. No experience required! Thursday 21st September, 11am - 1pm // Life Drawing with artist Jenny Bell Open to all levels, this life drawing session is designed to refresh, kick-start or simply add to your regular drawing practice, with emphasis on drawing as a process rather than outcome. Warm up exercises will playfully start the session leading into different length poses, offering the opportunity to expand your grasp of scale, proportion and line work in a tastefully dressed environment. Charcoal will be provided but please bring a sketchbook and any other drawing materials you would like to use! Over 18s only. Friday 22nd September - 11am - 1pm // Screenprinting on Paper The perfect taster session, drop in and pull your very own screenprint to take home! This workshop will run in the Print Club London studios with one of our expert tutors. You will receive a brief overview of the process, followed by the opportunity to hand print your own design by Creative Director Rose Stallard. No experience required! All sessions are free.
